The Kings Arms was built in 1810, as a coaching inn, when a new route was opened linking Carnforth and Milnthorpe directly on what is now the A6.

Today the Inn offers an excellent range of real ales and superb food to match - an extensive menu offers dishes from all over the world. We also have two en-suite double rooms, open all year round. An attractive beer garden sits at the rear of the Inn for eating or drinking out on fine days.

Ideal for The English Lake District, just twenty minutes drive away. For sporty types there is pony trekking, fishing, golf and crown green bowling - all available nearby. If you just like to taste good beer, the following are available.
