Bluebell Cottage is a lovely old detached home which has a idyllic setting in the heart of the 10th Century Doomsday Village of Beetham, surrounded by open farmland, country lanes, unspoilt woodland all to walk and enjoy right on your doorstep.

Visitors stay in our quality furnished en-suite twin room with colour television, two large easy chairs, tea and coffee, central heating and ample car parking. Breakfast is served in the cosy garden room.

Our guest room also benefits from being on the ground floor, has its own entrance plus a private patio giving wonderful views over open countryside there fore offering independence and privacy.

Open all year cost £24 pppn. Two nights or more £23 pppn. Based on two sharing. Saturday night only £25 pppn. Sorry no smoking, no pets and no children.

Bluebell Cottage makes the perfect base to explore the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, with Leighton Moss R.S.P.B. nature reserve, Levens Hall, Sizergh Castle and Arnside and Silverdale are all in close proximity.

How to find us

Leave the M6 at junction 35 and take the A6 to Kendal/Milnthorpe travelling North for approximately four miles. Take the second turning into Beetham past the church and then right before the Wheatsheaf Hotel, Bluebell Cottage is the fourth house on the right after the church.
